Ninety-Five years ago on May 20-21, 1927 Charles Lindbergh made his famous flight from New York to Paris. This of course caused a worldwide sensation and at that time there was no one more famous or admired than Lindbergh. Just a few days later both Vernon Dalhart and Vaughn De Leath recorded songs about the famous flight that were released on two sides of  Victor record 20674. Here are those two songs. While Lindbergh later lost much of his reputation because of his political views, at the time this record was released he was the "Eagle of the U.S.A.".

“Lindbergh (The Eagle of the U.S.A.)” by Vernon Dalhart 1927

“Like an Angel You Flew Into Everyone's Heart” by Vaughn De Leath 1927
