Tinfoilphono Posted April 29 Posted April 29 Amazing job! Congratulations all around, most especially for saving this incredible artifact -- and restoring it so carefully. 3
melvind Posted April 29 Posted April 29 Outstanding to see it on the wall. Thanks for sharing this journey with everyone! 6
Mlund Posted April 29 Author Posted April 29 (edited) If you have about 13 minutes of time to waste, you can watch the sign hanging video. We are definitely the ‘Keystone Cops’ of sign hangers. https://youtu.be/SnS-8VOnrnc?feature=shared Edited April 29 by Mlund 5
AudioAntique Posted May 3 Posted May 3 That sign is truly an awesome piece of VTM history. We are fortunate that you have the dedication and resources to preserve and display these artifacts for others to appreciate. Enjoyed your "sign hangers video." Mack Sennett would have been proud. 😄 What was the "real time" of the event depicted in the video.? 1

The sign hanging took the 4 of us about 35-40 minutes total (not counting about 4-5 hours of prep work that I did to get it ready to hang). I think the video is playing at 2x speed, so about 27 minutes represented in the video. Edited May 3 by Mlund
Garret Posted May 8 Posted May 8 Very nice. The sign was previously discussed here: https://forum.talkingmachine.info/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=55258&p=328644
