Some random 78rpm transfers I have made.....

Here are some of the transfers I have made from the original 78rpm and Cylinder recordings that I own in my collection. The records were transferred digitally using professional archival equipment with a variety of custom-made styli, with CEDAR denoise / declick unit used for the basic audio clean-up, and two professional sonic restoration and editing softwares (DC Art 10 / iZotope RX 7). I have shared many of these recordings on the Facebook group that I co-manage with Michael Biel, the 78 rpm records & cylinders fan group.

Anyway, onto the transfers.

Let me know how you think about my attempts.

Attached are some "action shots" taken during my transfer sessions.

I love the pictures of all your wonderful equipment. I just use a speed adjustable turntable, a few cartridge heads, and my MacBook Pro. I wish I had a room like yours!

Thanks for the post!

An impressive setup!

For those who don't know this Facebook group, it's great with a lot of seasoned record people contributing content.
