transformingArt Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 Here are some of the transfers I have made from the original 78rpm and Cylinder recordings that I own in my collection. The records were transferred digitally using professional archival equipment with a variety of custom-made styli, with CEDAR denoise / declick unit used for the basic audio clean-up, and two professional sonic restoration and editing softwares (DC Art 10 / iZotope RX 7). I have shared many of these recordings on the Facebook group that I co-manage with Michael Biel, the 78 rpm records & cylinders fan group. Anyway, onto the transfers. Attached are some "action shots" taken during my transfer sessions. 1
melvind Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 (edited) I love the pictures of all your wonderful equipment. I just use a speed adjustable turntable, a few cartridge heads, and my MacBook Pro. I wish I had a room like yours! Thanks for the post! Edited March 2, 2021 by melvind
Analogous Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 An impressive setup! For those who don't know this Facebook group, it's great with a lot of seasoned record people contributing content. John
