Buying a gramaphone

Hi,

I am from India, and I am looking to get my first gramaphone, a good working piece but authentic one. I don't have much experience in differentiating between fake and genuine piece. Hence can someone suggest me a reliable place or trusted seller to get one.

I live in Canada and often purchase Items from Stanton's Auction house in Michigan USA, who has at least two phonograph / gramophone auctions a year and the same for Donley's Auction in Illinois USA.  They are both very reputable and can arrange shipping, which to India will likely be very expensive.  Living outside of the continental USA you should expect to pay a lot for shipping, insurance and pay in advance for any purchases you make.

 

I currently have several Edison Cylinder machines for sale on Facebook Market Place if you are interested.
