melvind
I recently picked up a Pooley Flat Top Victrola that is in great shape, but the crank escutcheon is missing. It seems to be different than other Victrola machines I am familiar with. It has 3 screw holes instead of two. On the earlier models of the Pooley there was a simple round escutcheon that just fit in the hole, but this one is a bit later and seems to have had a screw in type. Can anyone provide more info on it? Thanks
Django
I believe that they all had a cylindrical escutcheon that pushed in. Pictures please. Edited March 25 by Django
melvind
Yes,that is what I have realized. Someone must have put another one on sometime in the past. Now I need to find one appropriate for the machine and fill the screw holes.
Django
I believe that that escutcheon was used up through the VV-XVI B, L-Door. Nice find. Is it an early one with the bevel gear motor? Edited March 27 by Django
