Imitation Display Records

For many years I have been looking for imitation records intended for window and store displays to protect actual records from the sun or damage. Below are the ones I have been able to find over the years. I have seen Brunswick metal records as well but have never found any to purchase. I like unusual things and advertising. These qualify as both.

I found my first two about 18 or so years ago in a small town antique store in a box of 78 records marked 50 cents each. They are the only two I have found that are actually made of shellac and look like normal Victor records. But, the grooves are empty and have no sound in them. They are one sided and both are 10 inches around.

The next two are made of metal but serve the same purpose. A 12 inch and a 10 inch.

Here is another one sided metal record for Emerson. It is an odd size somewhere between an 8 and 10 inch record.

The final one is another Victor product made of cardboard. It is one sided and 10 inches around. The highlighted groove light is part of the picture and not actual reflected light.
