Allen Posted December 28, 2021 Posted December 28, 2021 In the course of a recent conversation (via email) with Paul Israel, in preparation for an article in the March 2022 issue, he shared this wonderful news: - all 9 volumes of their massive, years-long project to cover all of Edison's life and inventions, has been digitized by Johns Hopkins Press (Project Muse) and placed on the Web, for free! Since their most recent book, over 1100 pages, alone sells for $115 in hard copy, this is quite a bargain. Here is the URL (watch the wrap): https://muse.jhu.edu/search?action=search&query=title:The Papers of Thomas A. Edison:and&limit=subscription:n&limit=format:book&sort=launch asc&min=1&max=20 Let us know if this access URL works for you. Best, Allen 4
phonogfp Posted December 28, 2021 Posted December 28, 2021 This indeed good news! Thanks for the link, Allen - it works fine for me. George P.
dbwhite Posted December 28, 2021 Posted December 28, 2021 Thanks Allen These are great books, and it is nice to have them in a digital format. The latest volume was on sale before Christmas for half the cover price.

Shawn Posted December 31, 2021 Posted December 31, 2021 Allen, Thank you so much for sharing! This is indeed awesome news!!! Recently, Louis Carlat, a peer of Paul and associate Editor of the Edison Papers, contacted me and we've been collaborating on their work on Coin-ops. They do amazing and deep research!! Shawn
