"On This Day in Phonographic History..."

 

June 29, 1912: Eugene Kieffer filed for a U.S. Design Patent (eventually granted as No. 43,006) for “Cabinet for Talking Machines.” This would become the cabinet for the Victrola XVI.

 

September 10, 1912: Eugene Kieffer was granted U.S. Design Patent No. 43,006.
