Edison London Upright dating

Hello! I've had this Edison player for a couple months now and haven't been able to date it on my own. I hope you're able to help me, as I'm very curious as to when it was made. Thank you in advance!

Hi Jon,

Welcome to the APS Forum!

The LU-37 was introduced in August 1922, and original price was $100.  According to the production figures published in George Frow's The Edison Disc Phonographs, #19343 was manufactured in May 1923.

I notice that you're missing the wooden knob on the lift lever.  If you provide me your address via private message, I'll send you one with my compliments.

Oh my, thank you for the welcome! Are you sure about the knob? I don't mean to impose. As for the date, I appreciate it! It's amazing you even had the month, I suspected it was from later, maybe 1928. I'll make sure to write this down on a card and put it in should I ever part with it. Again, many thanks.
