I inherited a World Phonograph with boxes of 78’s. It is like the one you can buy ad for.  Would like to sell. Anyone know what is worth?

What you have is commonly known as an off-brand phonograph.  From what little information is known, I believe the World phonograph company was formed around 1917, and only lasted a few years.  Many of the off brands went out of business by the early 1920's.  These machines are not of much interest to most serious collectors.  You haven't included a good photo of the whole machine.  A lot depends on condition (no missing or broken parts, runs & plays well, and cabinet cosmetically good).  But even in good condition, off-brand phonographs rarely sell for very much.  Maybe $100 if you are lucky and find the right buyer.  Depending on how many records, their condition, labels and titles, the records could be worth a little money.  Generic boxes of records might sell for only $5 or $10 per box of 40 or 50 records.  How many records do you have?
