This is a fun record with lyrics by Rube Goldberg. Or as the sheet music cover says, Ravings by Rube Goldberg and Noise by Bert Grant. This is the 3rd cylinder record I have transferred with my recently purchased ACT 2 cartridge. I used my Edison Fireside phonograph to play the record with the ACT 2 as the reproducer. A fun exercise that I hope to get better at as I do more of these. Cylinder records are often our of round and have all kinds of surprises when attempting to get a good recording of them. This is one is really in great shape, but there are still a few thumps and crackles here an there.
