"Music Master" Horns: "On This Day in Phonographic History..."

April 6, 1908: Stanislaus Moss filed for a U.S. patent for a “Horn for Talking Machines.”  This became the solid-wooden “Music Master” horn, sold for cylinder and disc machines.  Manufactured by Sheip & Vandegrift, “Music Master” bells were also supplied for Edison Cygnet horns, and those supplied with the Edison Opera/Concert.
