melvind Posted October 15, 2020 Posted October 15, 2020 It is not often that I find a record that is basically in mint condition, but this is such a record. It makes me realize how much we have lost when playing most old records. This record could not have been played too many times in the 84 years the record has existed before I transferred it. A complete pleasure to listen to. Both sides are just as minty. “The World Is Mine” by Richard Himber and his Ritz-Carlton Orch. 1936 DAHR: https://adp.library.ucsb.edu/index.php/matrix/detail/200024368/BS-102976-The_world_is_mine 1
Analogous Posted October 16, 2020 Posted October 16, 2020 In assessing cylinder quality, I often remind myself that virtually no record comes to us unplayed. It's wonderful when you come across an exception to the rule. 1
