Two posters I show came from non collectors and both given to be because I praised them and talked about them to their owners. One a poster of Ed Wynn and the other a poster (reproduction) depicting Joe Hayman or is it Cohen on the Telephone? Now there was also from fellow collectors an ad for Stewart phonographs, leather bits for brakes, parts to complete a portable, a long play record I see at Naucks now with minimum bid of $150.00! None of these people wanted anything in return. Just amazing. I was able to return the favor in a few cases by finding something for them!
