What to do, with a broken governor?

So, I have a governor  for my Edison Fireside, and I broke the tensioner wire spring, that I did not know was supposed to bend? Because I didn’t know I should not move the Center collar, and move the one on the top end of the governor. Obviously this, one is history, and I will have to buy a replacement one.

I emailed George Valoma and said he might have a replacement governor or I could try, and either replace the wire or remove the center brass collar on the shaft and turn it into one from an earlier machine.
