Can you spot the difference. 2 copies of same recording. Different masters?

This is the second Roosevelt selection that I have seen with the name misspelled.

 

I have two copies of 3707, “The Right of The People to Rule”, Mold 1, Take 13, with an error in the last name.

 

I spoke with Ron Dethlefson many years ago about this and he thought it unusual.  According to Ron, the engraving was a manual, labor-intensive process.  During production, usually, every 100th would be pulled for inspection and errors communicated with suspension of the line until errors were corrected.  Theoretically, no more than 100 could have been produced and shipped, of Mold 1, Take 13.

 

Given that yours is a different Roosevelt title, one wonders if there weren’t something more nefarious at play.
