PatheLogical Posted May 19 Posted May 19 Two scarce records by the Kilties Band of Canada. One 10" and one 7" example are shown here. DAHR lists 26 recordings by the band, 10 of which are 12" diameter. https://adp.library.ucsb.edu/index.php/mastertalent/detail/325241/Kilties_Band_of_Canada Does anyone know whether any of the band's 12" records used the tartan/plaid label? Thanks for any information you can provide! 1
phonogfp Posted May 19 Posted May 19 I've never seen a 12" pressing of the Kilties Band with a tartan label. My 7" and 10" examples are flush-label pressings, so I suspect the colorful label was discontinued by the time the matrix series and 12" discs were inaugurated. George P. 1
PatheLogical Posted May 19 Author Posted May 19 Thanks for the response, George! I've never seen any 12" records by the Kilties Band at all, so I didn't want to assume one way or the other about the color of the labels used on those discs. All 7" and 10" examples of the American, tartan label I've seen also sported flush labels. Recordially yours, Bob
