phono-phan Posted February 4 Posted February 4 I was able to add to my Victor phonograph collection recently. It is the Victor Toy phonograph. It originally sold for $3.00. It also has the record that originally came with it in 1901. For some reason, this one left the factory with the seam of the horn on the top. The celluloid tag is missing. Other than the Holy Grail of Victor horn machines, the MD, I am only missing one to have the complete Victor outside horn models in the collection. You will have to guess which one it is. 3
phono-phan Posted February 4 Author Posted February 4 Thanks Dan. I look forward to seeing you at the APS Show in June!!!!
Tinfoilphono Posted February 5 Posted February 5 What a great machine! I've always wanted to find one but never did. A true rarity.
phono-phan Posted February 12 Author Posted February 12 I am curious if other examples of this phonograph have the horn seam on top.
