phonogfp Posted February 2 Posted February 2 An APS member asked about a Lambert discography, and was having difficulty finding it in the members-only online library. I have scanned and posted the original work by Allen Koenigsberg, which addresses 2-inch and 5-inch cylinders, in hopes that it may come in handy for others too. George P.
PatheLogical Posted February 2 Posted February 2 (edited) Thanks for taking the time to post this George! I'm sure the author of the original Facebook post concerning this topic appreciates your efforts too! Do we know if this list has been updated at all? Regards, Bob Edited February 2 by PatheLogical
phonogfp Posted February 2 Author Posted February 2 Bob, it almost seems like some additions have been made, but I could be wrong about that. If so, I don't recall where they are. George P.
RodPickett Posted February 3 Posted February 3 The September 2021 issue of The Antique Phonograph, pp 27 – 37, contains an article by Allen, providing new detail on Lambert’s, including discography, from his original 1981 APM Vol VI 8, with a reference to the next issue (1981 APM Vol VI 9) to contain detail on Lambert 5 inch, including discography. The March 2007 issue of The Sound Box, pp 22 -25, contained an article by Allen documenting the Keating Lambert Cylinders. Members can find these issues via Member Resources / Library Search / September 2021 & March 2007, respectively. All APM's are also in the Member Content Library and can be found via Member Resources / Library Catalog / Periodicals and paginate to (55) for the beginning of those listings. Allen may also still have catalogs, with photos, available. APM is copyrighted by Allen Koenigsberg and Is being made available for APS subscribers with permission. Some Issues still exist In original hard-copy form and that availability may be pursued directly through email with Allen via: allenamet@aol.com George has already posted images. Attached is a PDF summary of those images. Lambert Discography.pdf
