I was fortunate to find another Victrola 10 reproducer.  It looks great on the XX.

Thanks for the comments.  This reproducer has been replated and is very bright.  Is there a way to tone down the sheen without damaging it?

Amber lacquer toner in satin or flat... should match your tonearm.  Spray it on a spare part first to see the effect - it replicates period gold plating quite well.  It's also reversible with lacquer thinner (acetone).
