phonogfp
May I impose on an owner of a Victor Orthophonic Horn Model (used by dealers to demonstrate to customers) to show the back of their example? The method of securing mine (shown below) is broken and missing. I'd like to replicate the original design if possible. Thanks in advance - - George P.
melvind
Cool piece. I've wanted one of these for many many years!
phonogfp
Thanks Dan. I worked on a friend for about a decade to finally get this one! I hope one turns up for you soon - - George P.
L4tD
I have one that I bought years ago, and it has a different arrangement for securing the back. I'm assuming that the hooks are original to the model - the hardware is certainly vintage.
phonogfp
Thanks for posting! This certainly looks original to me. There are no extra holes in either of our examples to suggest later modifications. Evidently, the rather flimsy design seen on mine was improved with hooks. George P.
