For only two or three days every May, the setting sun shifts in the sky to a position where it shines directly through a small window and creates a spotlight that hits a specific shelf in my office. The well-focused light reflects off the side and back of the nickel-plated horn and creates a circular web of bright light that is pretty amazing. A fascinating phenomenon!
