Looking for Thorens Excelda parts

Does anyone have a Thorens Excelda that has become a source for spare parts? I'm looking for several parts to restore one I recently acquired. It has a good spring but I need to rebuild the governor as it needs new springs, two of the three are broken and the ever-elusive fiber (?) gear has a bad wear spot in it and I'd replace it too if I can find one. It still works, but has that badly worn spot on it. I'm told the best source for the parts will be Europe, but thought I'd see if anyone here might have some. I already found a replacement for the reproducer that I believe will be better than the original. I have the weights for the governor, just need new springs, they are about 1 3/4 inches long and about a quarter inch wide with screw holes on each end and in the middle.

Buy three new governor springs (generic) of the same approx. size.  Use the good spring as a pattern, drill the holes and cut them to match.  I doubt that you will find new Thorens replacement springs, since it is a very limited market.  Replace all three and keep the original.

The main spring on my machine is in excellent condition but I DO have a spare from a person who sold me a complete but broken motor. His spring was in good condition, but had come unattached inside. It was a relatively simple matter to reattach it and I'll keep that spring as a spare. His motor also had a governor that is in excellent condition. The governor on my machine was broken but I was able to (miraculously)  find new springs for it and have rebuilt it. I was interested to note that the Excelda apparently came in different configurations. The governor is quite different looking as is the fiber gear assembly. The on/off/speed control lever on the motor is also different and is NOT interchangeable.  I was able to use the governor or the fiber gear assembly in the main body of my motor even though the parts look quite different. The ONLY part I'm nissing now to have it up and running is the ever-elusive fiber gear!  I'm actually considering having a machine shop make one for me in metal since the odds of finding an original are about the same as the odds of me taking a trip to Mars!

Consider having them made in Delrin. Get several made, you'll have a market for them I believe.

Walt Sommers made me 3 springs a few years ago for a very reasonable price for a machine I still have.  As for the fiber gear, good luck, I looked for one for a couple of years, including a European source and never found one.  I sold the machine as a parts machine last year.  Seriously, I will you luck.  A link to Walt's eBay store below.
