Here is a brown wax cylinder from 1900.  The song may be referring to the financial problems of the Herbert family in 1899 which forced the sale of the Muckross Estate in 1900.  The details may be seen here https://www.thedunloe.com/blog/muckross-house-and-gardens-a-brief-history-part-2  and here https://www.muckrosshouseresearchlibrary.ie/Owners.php#   The cylinder itself has an odd rumble and wavering pitch.  The beginning of the announcement is also cut off.  A bad day at the Edison factory or possibly an unauthorized copy?  It did come with an original title slip.
