melvind Posted February 12 Share Posted February 12 One hundred years ago today the first performance of Rhapsody In Blue occurred at Aeolian Hall in New York city with Paul Whiteman's orchestra and George Gershwin at the piano. The version below was recorded three years later in 1927. There is also an acoustic version from 1924, but this one has much better sound being an orthophonic electrical recording.
