Edison Reproducer Clip-on Weight

An after-market weight designed to clip-on to Edison fishtail.

Now this is something I've not seen before.   Have you tried it?  I would think it eats up wax records fairly quickly but could be an improvement for celluloid records.

I have not.  Like you, this is likely better seen than used and heard.  I may get encouraged to try on a cylinder I care nothing about.

Yes, as with many of these "improvements" very interesting to have and read about but better  left on the shelf except for an occasional demo or something.

Fascinating! I've seen other Edison (and Columbia) weights but never that particular one.
