Another Columbia Q question

Does any one know if the lift lever on the carriage and the small brass gear on the feed screw are parts I can buy? I’ve seen the complete carriage and complete feed screws for sale but can’t seem to find these parts anywhere.

could help you with these common parts.  For the carriage, the part you need is the lift collar.  The lift lever appears intact on the carriage you pictured.  Good luck!

Thanks George , I’m still trying to figure out the names of these part , yes the lever on the other works fine , let me look for lift collar , I’ll check either the gentleman you suggested.

No, I've noticed the holes/no holes variations on the cast Q bases, but I haven't looked for serial patterns or other clues as to why.  Sounds like a good project for you!😀
