APS Wayne Show Report October 7th & 8th

We would like to share some photos of the October 7th and 8th Mechanical Music Extravaganza held at Wayne, New Jersey.

 

The October 7th gathering in the parking lot was rainy but did not deter phonograph enthusiasts.  Charley Hummel’s collection items were the highlight of the parking lot and show.  Both Charley Hummel and Don Gfell were missed. 

 

The October 8th show day was sunny.  Michael Devecka and his wife did an excellent set-up for the show.  His organization of the Mechanical Music Extravaganza is much appreciated.  The next show is scheduled for Sunday, April 21, 2024.

Can anyone tell me who was selling the kinetoscope shown in one of the photos from the show..thank you

The kinetoscope was from the Charley Hummel collection. 

I believe it was sold.

That looks like a Puck Lorelei in the second and third photos. Would love to buy one someday. Might this be available for sale?

The Puck was also part of the Charley Hummel collection. I believe the machine sold Saturday morning.
