MisterJive47 Posted September 22, 2023 Posted September 22, 2023 Hi all, I've just gotten done stripping down the cabinet of an A-100 that was heavily layered with thick, dirty shellac from a previous "restoration", and I noticed this detail on the grille corner medallions. Were these originally painted? The predominant color is red, but I'm seeing trace amounts of green and white. Has anyone encountered this before?
CurtA Posted September 22, 2023 Posted September 22, 2023 I've never seen it, but it would probably look good painted and it's reversible... 1

You're not wrong there. I've considered just leaving that detail as is. It looked to me like it was underneath the original finish, but I could be mistaken.
