The Class M is ready for exhibitions again after many years of silence. Admission price is a nickel per selection. No discounts for friends or family and no sharing of listening tubes!

Many thanks to Darren J Wallace for the restoration work including completing the missing piece of the listening rail, Aaron Loyak and the late Charles Hummel for rubber tubing and some additional hardware for the listening tubes, PedroFono Pedro Martínez Díaz the Grenet cell and for making the wire stancions for some of the listening tubes, Chuck  Azzalina for making the power supply and lastly Paul Baker for transporation from Canada to the Midwest Exhibition where I finally picked it up.

It truly takes a village!

Impressive! A Jules Verne like contraption. Imagine seeing that for the first time and thinking, "What form of grift is this? You want me to stick this in my ears and I give you a nickel? Rigmarole! I'll wait and see what happens to the first group."

I was going to post a few more pics of this earlier but got distracted with some other things.  Finally, here they are for those of you who are interested.  🙂 6B37BB1F-8C4B-4D48-8FB0-4EB9DB08847D.thumb.jpeg.9a48705ef8928a2e7a5971393fc130bb.jpeg4B83D332-4870-42C5-82E6-941F511EA159.thumb.jpeg.a7f465c39dc54d4f4280b355dc08acc5.jpeg626C6E63-54A7-4D97-A745-8900446069BF.thumb.jpeg.3c2dc17c427ed18dfa839fbefa062911.jpeg7194736B-6B72-4C64-8839-4A4C5E2A5560.thumb.jpeg.32aed7a103e133f4357685d59a68573b.jpegC4FF3C31-F472-46A0-8A26-4FE9A8FE8F4D.thumb.jpeg.358e2bfaabed3fc5f1ebbc2c237c739e.jpeg111A5E42-7062-47D4-8A7B-14FBE325F491.thumb.jpeg.6a1c4f1ba293d97ee6d7d4d17abc9eda.jpeg8151B073-2302-4E6F-A428-B8EBDB8274B7.thumb.jpeg.b4c6afe2ce04d65f97adccba87330f61.jpegD1399286-BD30-4A29-89EB-58E9E0F1A7D7.thumb.jpeg.0e55146d0bd3efdadc017c471f2042b5.jpegAB457C4A-E9F0-4CA6-AE20-A845629836FE.thumb.jpeg.fb0b2e560608306c4d93137217843c3b.jpeg7B58DA68-197E-4FEB-BF3D-BAAE875C09A8.thumb.jpeg.19ae00ab8bac0a234f0724e29ff6994a.jpegA920A2C6-BFB3-4BE2-A108-992F968E1C37.thumb.jpeg.eb021cac26d88a80ed27cfeabfaf33bc.jpeg

That is a beautiful machine...  What are you using for a connecting tube from the reproducer?  Black CPAP hose might look better and it's not expensive...

Thank you!

Regarding the connecting tube, I'm using the oriignal that came with the machine.  It looks odd because I wrapped it in plastic kitchen wrap.  The original rubberized lining has long since fallen away and without that fix most of the sound leaks out before getting to the listening rail.  The kitchen wrap works great and can be easily removed without causing damage.  Admittedly it looks terrible though.

Doesn't anyone make a replacement ?  I know the CPAP hose is a hokey solution, but it's airtight and flexible...

Pedro Martinez Diaz will restore the original.  I just need to get it to him
