rkruz3 Posted June 11, 2023 Posted June 11, 2023 View Advert Edison Triumph Model B I've had this Edison Triumph Model B Phonograph for 20 years on display in my home. At over 110 years old, it still plays well and loud and with consistent speed. The SN is 63901, and the last patent date on the plate is 1906. The oak case is wonderful looking, and experts tell me it has been refinished and a reproduction decal. All internal springs are good, and the phonograph runs for a long time on a single winding. The speed control adjustment works. It was advertised to play sixteen two-minute cylinders on one winding. The bedplate is still deep back and glossy, and the original gold pinstriping is still prominent. The governor and gearing are working correctly, and the motor still has the torque to play multiple records with a single winding. The nickel plating on the small parts is original and still good, and the original shaving assembly is installed. Included is an original 14" witch's hat horn, correct for the phonograph, but it is dinged up. It has a Model C reproducer I've included a reproduction blank wax cylinder It can be picked up in Orange County, CA.
