In 2020 towards the beginning of the pandemic I posted information on these same imitation records. I have since found more information and decided to give the topic a face lift. 

 

Thanks to Robin & Joan Rolfs for allowing me to use excerpts from a document they own from June 1909 all about Dealer Window Displays from the Victor Talking Machine Company.
