Very sad to hear.  Don was a nice guy.

Don was indeed one of the nicest guys in our hobby. He did great work with his wood horns and was a master at bringing damaged horns back to life. I remember sending horn home with him from a Union Phonograph show. A year later I picked it up from him at the next Union show. Such a great guy. He and Bobbie will be missed at future shows.

I'll always remember Don as the guy with the front row reserved seat at the Stanton auction in Charlotte, MI.  He gave me good advice when I bought an Opera and an Amberola 1A.  I never went to his shop in Milan, but wish I had.  If you don't know him, he's the man at the bottom of these photos at a Stanton auction.

Don truly was a very nice gentleman that I spoke with years ago after meeting him. I will miss him as well and pray for his family. Thank you Don!
