Production date

I am hoping someone could help me with the production date of my Edison Standard?

I'm currently working a full restoration, and am very curious about it's date of manufacture.

Production date data for Edison Phonographs is not known, but sales data from 1896-May 1908 has survived.  For fast-selling styles like the Standard, the difference between production and shipping is usually negligible.

 

Edison Standard #396065 left the factory in January 1907.

How about serial number 470499?

 

This is my first Edison cylinder machine

I'll assume that #470499 is a Standard.

 

Edison Standard #470499 left the factory in June 1907.
