Dan Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 I got this on a lot of assorted antique phonograph parts? It says ever- ready , has small screw in bulb and a red lens on top . Not sure if the other parts go with it . Thanks Danny
phonogfp Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 The device marked "Ever-ready" appears to be an accessory light to be mounted inside a phonograph's playing compartment. These were offered in the late teens and 1920s for machines used in relatively dark environments (and who among us has never squinted while carefully lowering a needle onto the outer surface of a record?). The two stamped metal pieces are part of an Edison horn crane; introduced in October 1907. George P. 1

Thanks George , there are a lot of parts , I didn’t need and don’t know what they are , but I liked this light Thanks Dan
phonogfp Posted February 8, 2023 Posted February 8, 2023 That is indeed an interesting light. I don't recall ever seeing one with a colored lens in the top. George P.
