Such a great singer and a very nice record. So clear and well done. I recently recorded a couple of Bonci recordings on Columbia. He gets criticized for his fast vibrato, but it has never bothered me and he has wonderful vocal control. I think I have this record somewhere so I have to pull it out and hear it live again. Thanks for the video!

Great cylinder to have. Never found much like it. I love the sound of his voice and sounds good on this cylinder.

I’ve always preferred Bonci’s Edison recordings over the discs he recorded. His voice has a vitality that - to me - got lost with other companies’ technologies.

Oh I think so.  Not just Bonci btw.  I think the Edison Grand Opera selections are for the most part superbly done.  Knote's " Die Meistersinger Preisleid, Chalmers & Rappold's "Barcarole", some by Constantino I can't recall right now all come to mind.
