I assume these were first offered with a Model O reproducer.  Were they always in wood boxes?

This is the first one I have seen in a wooden box. Every one of these I have seen has been in a cardboard box. Unlike the Diamond Disc Long Play outfit, also in the auctIon, this has been used and does not have the installation instructions that would have accompanied it.
