RCA Victor Program Transcription - Grofé: “Grand Canyon Suite” 1932

I recently acquired this very nice copy of the 2 record 33 1/3 rpm set of Grofé's Grand Canyon Suite played by Paul Whiteman's Concert Orchestra. The set is the best sounding RCA Victor Program Transcription record I have so far. It has flaws being fragile technology and 90 years old. But, most of it sounds really terrific. This recording was also released as a released as a 4 record 78 rpm set and was recorded at the same session. I suspect both were cut at the same time but I can't be sure of that. Neither DAHR or Bolig specify this as being a dub, but you can hear the pauses where the 4 record set would have switched sides.

I had some fun with Cloudburst (the last section). I added some green screen lightning effects. I just felt the need to play around a bit. If you open this in YouTube there are chapter links for each movement.
