It was intended to be used in a record/phonograph store. It contains five excerpts dubbed from records on each side. The samples are dubbed from the originals and the record is noisy and recorded quite softly. The sound is nothing as good as the real record. I wonder if it actually helped sell anything at all. The announcer calls out each song and its catalog number before the sample plays. There are no grooves on the record between samples. The stylus gets stuck for a bit between tracks on my Diamond Disc machine. On a modern turntable the stylus just moves forward to the next track with the momentum of the record movement.
