Oregonian
I just returned home from the California Expo. Overall my experience was positive. As a vendor I sold reasonably well. As a buyer I came home with a treasure. But some aspects of the expo need to be tweaked and I think it would be helpful if a survey was sent to APS members that were sellers or early buyers. Oregonian
Guess there is no need for a survey.

It would also imply that I had concerns and possibly suggestions. Nobody from the club reached out by any method until I post to my own thread. Was my original suggestion inappropriate? What is the appropriate avenue for suggestions? Something is wrong here.
Oregonian
I made the suggestion for a survey about three months ago. It implied that I had some ideas and was looking for an appropriate avenue to compliment good aspects of the expo and possibly make suggestions to improve some things. But nobody posted to my topic. Nobody from the club reached out to me. My second post of "Guess there is no need for a survey" was done out of frustration. And now I find out "We had ample feedback". Really? Was my original topic inappropriate? Does the club not want feedback? Something seems wrong here. Respectfully submitted, Jerry Blais
phonogfp
Jerry, Thanks for your interest in providing feedback on the California EXPO. I assure you that any feedback which helps plan future EXPOs is welcome. That said, we're all volunteers here working on some major projects, and the development, distribution, and review of a survey cannot currently be a priority with our limited resources. However, please send your suggestions m(both positive and negative) to the APS via the "Contact Us" link found at the bottom of the APS website home page (click on the "Board of Directors/Advisory Board" button): https://www.antiquephono.org/#/ Thanks again for your help. Stan
The California APS was fun and interesting. I loved the auction, although it might have gotten in the way of some sales. I sold several items and brought home one treasure. Please do something about the "banquet." The APS Banquet at the mid-west show was superb; the Calif. Banquet was not.
