For a couple years a guy kept telling me he had one. He would bring it to his store. He would dig it out and find it and would sell it to me. After a couple years I got tired and when I went to Ron Haring's place and saw hundreds of machines for sale I asked do you have a Victor Victrola X table top for sale. He had several amongst hundreds of other machines. A candy store!!! It is still now a few years later still my favorite table top. She sounds wonderful and I love red mahogany. I really love the simple design "Wall of Troy" decorative carving below the lid quoting the Victor Victrola page

Lori Sprechmaschinenfabrik AG, Berlin Neukölln
Neilvanstem posted a topic in British & European Machines
Here is my Lori. By the seller, years ago, I was told it was a British machine then came the internet where you meet people from around the world with more information and a German collector said it was German. He gave me the name of the manufacturer which I have here Lori Sprechmaschinenfabrik AG, Berlin Neukölln. It is a large table top measuring 18 inches in width, 22 1/2 deep and 16 inches in height. The motor does not have much information on it but numbers only. It is double spring though looks small in the large case it is housed in. It has a semi-automatic stop and original Lori sound
