Description

A friend of mine is setting up a WWII display in his art studio, and asked me if I'd check with my phonograph friends to see if anyone has a 1930s/19040s radio for display.  It need not be working.  My friend doesn't care if it's wooden or bakelite, just so long as it's of the proper era.

The picture I uploaded has nothing to do with this subject, but it was required...

Hiya George!

I have this, and he's welcome to it. An RCA-Victor  Model 55X Radio that I've identified as pre-March 1942 (according to Riders). Nonworking, but looks pretty nice cleaned up.

Cheers,

Fran

That's great, Fran!  Thanks - - it's for Dave, as you probably guessed.  I'll be in touch - -
