Description
This is one of those nice early "pinkies" with a thick white rim and celluloid blocks supporting it. The cylinder is #238 (also pencilled inside the cylinder). It's an aria from the rarely performed opera, The Queen's Lace Handkerchief, written by Johann Strauss in 1882. I've never seen this title on another cylinder.
As you can see, the cylinder is a nice pink color. But overall condition is E- due to crackle and surface noise. Plus, there are a few marks by ballpoint pen (?) and there is some scoring outside the groove area that does not affect play.
Box is repro. Note that shipping this rarity is INCLUDED by Priority Mail.
